The Quest for the Lost City of Irisagrig

Thousands of cuneiform tablets looted from Iraq after 2003 turned out to come from Irisagrig, a Sumerian city whose location is lost. The film follows Assyriologist Manuel Molina and an international team combining tablets, satellite imagery and fieldwork in southern Iraq to find it.

آلاف الألواح المسمارية التي نُهبت من العراق بعد ٢٠٠٣ تبيّن أنها من إيريساغريغ، مدينة سومرية ضاع موقعها. يرافق الفيلم عالم الآشوريات مانويل مولينا وفريقاً دولياً يجمع بين الألواح وصور الأقمار الصناعية والعمل الميداني في جنوب العراق للعثور عليها.
